The Vail Valley is one of the most sought after vacation spots in the country.  But if you are a visitor and want to experience a day in Vail without involving the slopes, Alpine Arts Center has just to program for you!  Choose to do our Visual Arts on Vacation with a group of your friends and family.  Your outing to Alpine Arts Center will include a creative art project of your choice taught by one of our experienced and wonderful teachers, as well as a delicious, gourmet lunch. Your trip to Alpine Arts Center will leave you inspired, with a local art souvenir, and a full stomach!

Here are a few ideas to choose from, or you may create your own concept.

• Our Rocky Mountain Masterpieces program will teach you to paint the local scenery, including aspen trees, mountains, and Vail wildflowers depending on the season.  You will leave your Visual Arts on Vacation with a framed painting, a great souvenir of your trip.
• Paint your own watercolor Postcards From Paradise.  During your Visual Arts on Vacation, you will learn various watercolor techniques and apply these skills to create three watercolor postcards.  Send them to your friends at home to let them know you are having a blast in Vail!
• Create your own Magnetic Masterpieces for your refrigerator door as a souvenir from Vail.  Working with ceramics and lots of colorful glazes, you’ll create your own Vail magnets in our ceramics studio.  Then keep them for yourself or impress your loved ones with the perfect gifts. (Please note these pieces will need to be fired in the kiln – they can be picked up later in the week or mailed to your home)
