 Reconstruction Recycled Art Gallery Reception and Silent Auction 5/26
The "Recycled Art" Exhibit is now on display at Alpine Arts Center, brought to you by The Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability and Habitat for Humanity. As a means of promoting reuse of construction materials, these organizations offered artists the opportunity to make use of recycled construction materials. Reception and SIlent Auction is Wednesday night from 6-8:30pm.
Ceramics Ladies Night 5/28
Ladies, Laughs, and Leisure in the ceramics studio for handbuilding and wheel throwing.
 Open Life Drawing Session 6/1
Draw or paint the human figure from a live model. You may work at your own pace as the model poses for a few short warm up poses and then longer poses.
 Watercolor Workshop with Arizona Artist Kathie Neal 6/5-6/7
Day one will include using guaze and skeleton leaves to produce a beautiful work of art. Day two will teach painting on surfaces other than paper, and day three will be a more traditional work. This is a Summer Special! $200 for all three days.
 "Broken For You" Art Book Club 6/9
Alpine Arts Center and The Bookworm are pairing up for this wonderful evening of art and literature. "Broken For You" by Stephanie Kallos is described as "funny, heartbreaking and alive with a potpourri of eccentric and irresistible characters" and the story illustrates the amazing qualities of mosaics as an art form. After reading this novel, you will have the opportunity to create your own mosaics at Alpine Arts Center and be able to share this experience with other readers! We will meet from 7-9pm, and at the end of the evening you will have your own mosaic to take home with you, and hopefully a new appreciation for the book as well!
